Benevolence is a ministry our church participates in that helps those less fortunate or those going through a tough period. This ministry is managed by our deacons in association with recommendations from Brotherhood and WMU.

Due to limited resources, we have some restrictions, limitations and a vetting process in place to ensure that those with the most dire need have the priority and appropriately are cared for. We would love to help every person in need that comes to us. However, there are simply not enough resources for us to directly facilitate assistance to every request we receive. The main limitation of our benevolence concerns those members of our church and/or in certain circumstances, those in our immediate community.

If there is a need presented that is outside of the limitations/restrictions of our program, it may, at the deacons recommendation, be presented before the church. Our church can then decide to organize and facilitate a love offering to help those in need.
